Hi,
Thank you for posting. Yes, the prices are still current, but in January Jeff will need to raise the price of chord wood due to higher gas prices, etc.
Also, because you out of our local area (Wheeler, Nehalem, Manzanita), Jeff would charge an out of area fee (I think $25.) But I will have him call you to be sure.
I believe he still has dry wood avaible, but he's at work, and won't get home until after 8:00. I hope that's not too late to call. Otherwise he can give you a call tomarrow after 12:00 p.m.
Thanks again,
Carrie

What does a chord of maple, dry, 6 month old and already split go for? my son has 2 chords stacked in our shop in birkenfeld and is looking forward to selling them, but does not know what would be a fair price for both sides. Any advice?

Maple is good wood. $200 a chord would be a fair price for dry, seasoned, and split. If you sell it without splitting it or delivering it, then you can go down from the $200.00
Keep in mind that wood prices vary from state to state and even city to city. We live in smaller community and people aren't willing to pay as much as they would if they lived in a big city.

We will be in Manzanita August 1. We stay at a cabin on Sunset Drive, north of the town off 101. We want 1/2 cord delivered to our cabin around that date. Pick-up truck is the largest vehicle that can get up our hill to the cabin.
Please send a instructions of how to arrange. Best is a phone number I can call from Portland or Manzanita to arrange a delivery time. Email me: vangoghdog-wood@yahoo.com I should have an address by then
